  2. Click Network and sharing Center<\/li>\n
  3. Click Change adapter settings<\/li>\n
  4. Right click on your active network adapter & choose properties<\/li>\n
  5. Choose Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP\/IPv4) and click properties<\/li>\n
  6. Enter the new DNS servers into the boxes under \u201cUse the following DNS server addresses\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In general windows will set the DNS servers from your internet connection or ISP internet service provider.In all he cases these would be done by ISP.The main drawback in ISP is it tend to cache DNS entries longer than they should and does not update its records properly.<\/p>\n

    To avoid this or due to this you may wish to use google's public DNS servers.<\/a><\/p>\n

    To modify your DNS servers within Windows 10 (and other versions of Windows), you\u2019ll need to modify the network adapter<\/a> properties. First, locate the Control Panel from within Windows.<\/p>\n
